As a non-profit arts organization we are very grateful for the support of our volunteers. Regent volunteers are integral to the efficient and welcoming environment at the theatre.

What does a Volunteer do?

Volunteers support our Front of House team by:

  • Checking tickets, and showing patrons to their seats.
  • Helping at the concession counter, making popcorn and serving food & beverages.
  • Providing customer service at the box office, selling tickets, memberships and gift cards.

Benefits of being a Volunteer:

  • Enjoy a film, concert, or live performance during your shift.
  • Free popcorn and 1 concession item.
  • Support a community arts organization.
  • Meet new people by becoming a member of our vibrant volunteer community.
  • Participation in our ticket loyalty program and volunteer events.

All Volunteers are eligible for:

  • 2 comp tickets for every 4+ shifts worked per month (to a maximum of 10 tickets per year).
  • 1 comp ticket for every 2 or 3 shifts worked per month (valid for 1 year from date of issue).

WHAT SKILLS DO VOLUNTEERS NEED TO HAVE?

Our volunteers have a passion for the arts and enjoy helping people and customer service. There is no experience necessary. As we are licensed to serve alcohol, we do require that any volunteers assisting at concession have a valid Smart Serve certification if you are over 19. All volunteers must complete a free police check.

WHAT IS REQUIRED?

There is no minimum number of hours required. Volunteers schedule themselves based on their needs and availability. A typical shift is 1.5 hours (although varies with special events). We do ask that volunteers try to come out at least once a month, but we are flexible and allow our volunteers to decide what type of commitment fits their lifestyle.
